Why Does My Printer Say Offline?
When your printer shows as offline, it means the computer can't communicate with it. This is usually due to network issues, power state, or driver problems.
How to Fix Printer Offline Issues
- Restart your printer and computer.
- Check the printer’s network or USB connection.
- Set it as default printer under Settings > Devices > Printers.
- Open the print queue and uncheck “Use printer offline.”
- Update or reinstall the printer driver from the manufacturer website.
Advanced Tip
Disable SNMP Status in Printer Properties > Ports > Configure Port. This is often effective on networked printers.
